Traditional therapy focuses on mental health only. I take a different approach. I believe the mind + body are one. What occurs in the mind affects the body and vice versa. To restore wellness, you must treat both mind + body.

I personally know the frustration of being dismissed by some healthcare professionals, who look at you like you're crazy as you explain your experiences and symptoms.
In fact, it's what led me to become a functional medicine psychotherapist.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I enjoyed a long career at Fortune 100 tech companies,
where I gained experience solving complex, technological system issues.
One day, after years of suffering from agonizing physical and mental health issues, I put my systems knowledge to use on my own health. I quickly figured out the root cause of my issues. I was relieved of all of my symptoms because I addressed the root cause.
Shocked at the lack of root cause analysis in traditional mental health and physical healthcare, I searched for alternative treatments and found a home in functional medicine.
Since then, it's been my mission to empower women to change their lives.
I'm passionate about listening to women who feel ignored.
I'm obsessed with discovering the root cause of women's symptoms and
collaborating with women, who are the most knowledgeable sources on their own bodies,
to achieve optimal wellness.
I'm uniquely astute at untangling the complex web of physical and mental health issues, and a compassionate partner for women who want a holistic, life-changing approach to health.

In addition to utilizing functional medicine tools and techniques, I also integrate a variety of psychotherapeutic techniques and theories to customize the fit for each individual client.
For instance, I often combine various aspects of person-centered, gestalt, humanistic, existential, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), solution-focused, mindfulness-based, and narrative therapies
in order to meet the specific needs of each client.

The root speaks its own language:
anxiety, worry, fear, doubt, insecurity, chronic pain, upset stomach, weight gain, and brain fog
to name a few.
